Junior Infants

Here is just a sample of the many things we have done this year in Junior Infants.

We got "Class of the month" for September.

Shape.

We have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes. We printed windows an wheels on our buses.

We made shape monsters.

We dressed up for Hallowe'en. We are a scary looking lot.

Thank you to Nisha for our fabulous cake.

We loved making Hallowe'en Art.

Garda Pat and Garda Mandy talked to us about keeping safe at Hallowe'en. They put some of us under arrest!

We played some Hallowe'en games- Roll like a pumpkin. March like Frankenstein. Balance like a tree. Flap your wings like a bat. Stretch like a cat. Hop like a toad.

RSA

The RSA gave us High Vis jackets to wear so we can keep safe when we are walking to school in the dark mornings.

A story teller told us stories from all over the world.

We have been working hard at holding our pencils correctly. Some of us have got our Pencil Car Licences.
